The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) are developing a strategic framework for human spaceflight operations this year according to senior US Administration officials.
The International Space Station was forced to fire thrusters to dodge a collision with a satellite, NASA has said.
The crew will undock from the ISS at 8:35 p.m. Saturday Eastern Time, for a splashdown off the coast of Florida at about 1:46 p.m. Sunday, according to NASA.
The astronauts even hung little flags of all the countries represented over their performance zones on the space station.
The mission carries special political meaning for the ruling Communist Party as it prepares to celebrate its centenary next month.
"Astronauts face an overwhelming amount of work the day investigations arrive, but these cells need fresh medium right away. We thought we had better work out this procedure ahead of time,"
"Welcome home Victor, Michael, Shannon, and Soichi, and congratulations to the teams at NASA and SpaceX who worked so hard to ensure their safe and successful splashdown," NASA Administrator, Senator Bill Nelson, said.
The Crew-2 mission is the second of six crewed missions NASA and SpaceX will fly as part of the agency's Commercial Crew Program.
