With the arrest of two brokers along with a hotel owner from the Mahipalpur area of South West Delhi, the Delhi Police rescued ten girls from a prostitution racket, the police said on Friday.
The Delhi Police on Friday deported a Bangladeshi immigrant couple from South West Delhi. With this the number of immigrants apprehended in the last three days by the cops reached 32.
In an ongoing drive against the illegally staying foreign nationals, 11 Bangladeshi immigrants from the South West district have been deported through the Foreigners Registration office (FRRO), the Delhi Police said on Wednesday.
The FIR mentioned the names of seven individuals and was registered under Section 318 (cheating) of BNS at Narela Industrial Area police station in Outer North Delhi.
A senior citizen couple was charred to death following a fire that broke out in their apartment on Wednesday evening in South West Delhi’s Safdarjung area, the police said.
In the first incident which took place at around 2:30 pm, several rounds were fired outside a supermarket outlet in Meera Bagh’s Raj Mandir Market.
The body of the deceased was found with multiple stab wounds while the other victim is currently undergoing treatment for a gunshot injury.

The police received a PCR call on Friday at the Kapashera police station regarding the alleged molestation of the minor girl by the 14-year-old boy. A team was rushed to the spot, and a medical examination of the girl was conducted.
