Ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections, Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav on Tuesday advised the party candidates to closely interact with the voters and tell them about the works done by the previous Congress governments for the development of the national capital and welfare of the people.
Former Union Minister Smriti Irani said on Friday that BJP's symbol 'Lotus' is the political identity of its leaders.
The event features several panel discussions on critical issues such as leadership in entrepreneurship, sustainable commerce, and the challenges of scaling women-led startups.
Irani said, "I am elated at the huge response the membership drive is eliciting nationally towards the BJP leadership."
Rahul’s remarks come in the wake of trolling of Irani on social media after she vacated her official bungalow located in Lutyens’ Delhi.
Maintaining that over 50 crore mandays were created under 'Garib Rojgar Yojana' for migrant workers returning home, Irani claimed that "it did not happen in Bengal".
Taking to Twitter, Irani said: "It is rare for me to search for words while making an announcement; hence here's me keeping it simple - I've tested positive for COVID and would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest."
'People are aware of Congress's tactics. That's why they ensured a historic win for the BJP in 2019 elections,' she had said.
Irani was among the three Union Ministers who addressed Muslim women across the country through videoconference on the first anniversary of the passage of The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2019 by Parliament.
Taking it to her official Instagram Handle, Irani shared a video and spoke how nervous she was during the shoot.
