Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Smriti Irani alleged on Sunday that evidence has surfaced of fake Aadhaar cards, voter IDs, and PAN cards being created for illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in Delhi's Sangam Vihar area.
Ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections, Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav on Tuesday advised the party candidates to closely interact with the voters and tell them about the works done by the previous Congress governments for the development of the national capital and welfare of the people.
Former Union Minister Smriti Irani said on Friday that BJP's symbol 'Lotus' is the political identity of its leaders.

Addressing a Mahila sammelan in Himachal Pradesh, the Union minister said, "Showing dreams is an old tradition of Congress. Congress led the government in the state and the Centre for a long time, but did not do anything for the state."

The Delhi High Court on Monday observed that no bar licence was ever issued in favour of Smriti Irani or her daughter, while dealing with a civil defamation suit filed by Union minister Irani against Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera and Netta D'Souza, who alleged that the former was running an 'illegal' bar in BJP-ruled Goa.
