SJVN, a Himachal Pradesh-based Public Sector Undertaking, has been honoured with two prestigious awards at the SHRM India HR Awards 2024 in the Public Sector Enterprises category.
According to the SJVN spokesperson, this prestigious recognition, making the company 25th Navratna of India, marks a momentous milestone in SJVN’s 36-year journey.
Himachal Pradesh government will take back power projects that do not comply with the state’s condition of 12 per cent, 18 percent and 30 per cent power royalties on power generated.

Mann said that the state government will save Rs 431 crore through this negotiation, adding that the earlier governments had mercilessly plundered public money by signing these agreements to benefit the private players.

This was discussed during a meeting of SJVN director finance Akhileshwar Singh with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati.
