BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh, BJP national secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva were also present on the occasion.
This program has been approved in the larger spirit of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”, under the Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) Scheme of the ministry, through Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), which is a statutory body established for the welfare of the Sikh community.
The Bandel Gurudwara Singh Sabha spokesperson Devendra Singh Chawla said, “We protest against the defaming and unconstitutional remarks made by a BJP MLA against a Sikh officer on duty at Sandeshkhali.
The Sikh community members continued to protest the racial and anti-national slur on one of their community members, who is also an IPS officer. They even met the Governor with their demands.
