The party which was surrounded by allegations of delay in taking action against Shrikant Tyagi, is now 'stuck' with the allegations of more strictness. The way a huge crowd gathered for a Maha panchayat in Noida on Saturday has even created a breakdown in the party, known to have a single line.
Anu Tyagi, wife of arrested self-claimed BJP leader Shrikant Tyagi, on Wednesday said that her husband was a member of the BJP. Talking to reporters, she alleged that her family was being harassed at the behest of BJP MP Mahesh Sharma.
The matter came to light on Friday when several video clippings of the incident went viral on social media in which the Tyagi could be heard hurling abuses at the woman.
