In a decision that could surprise many, Mohan Yadav’s name was announced after the BJP Central Observers held a meeting with the 163 BJP MLAs in Bhopal in the evening.
The BJP is yet to appoint a Chief Minister for Madhya Pradesh.
The 30-year-old was thrashed by her brother-in-law after she voted for the BJP in the recently held Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.
