Shiv Sena’s Thane MP Naresh Mhaske, who is a close aide of Shinde, said that Kamra would not be able to move freely in India and would have to move out of India.
Shinde shared a letter written by Sena MLA Sanjay Shirsat from the Aurangabad (West) Assembly seat and dated June 22 in which he claimed that the Shiv Sena MLAs did not have access to the chief minister's residence.
Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde on Thursday tweeted a letter addressed to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, and captioned it "This is the sentiment of MLAs". According to the letter, the Shiv Sena leaders don't have access to the chief minister's residence.
A senior functionary of the Sena said, "The magnitude of the rebellion is such that there are grim chances of survival, but we are engaging them and there are regular talks."
"If any MLA wants me to not continue as the CM, I am ready to take all my belongings from Varsha Bungalow (official residence of the CM) to Matoshri," Thackeray said.
Thackeray said it is not about numbers but how many are against him and he will leave if even one person or MLA is against him.
