Taapsee Pannu's most awaited project 'Shabaash Mithu' finally hit the screen on Friday, 15 July. Produced under the banner of Viacom 18 and Colosceum Media, the film is directed by Srijit Mukherji

She says, "Rishi ji used to call me a veteran actor after knowing that I have done 10 South Indian films. I used to call him a bully bag."
The film is based on the life of Mithali Dorai Raj of the Indian women's cricket team who recently announced her retirement from all forms of cricket.
In a career spanning 23 years, Mithali boasts of 7 consecutive 50s in ODIs and has led India in 4 World Cups.
Thappad is slated for release on 28 February 2020.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia and written by Priya Aven, Shabaash Mithu is slated to release on 5 February 2021.
The actress took to her official Instagram handle to share a picture with the birthday girl and announced that she will essay the role of Mitali in her next film.
