SER’s growth in freight loading

The ministry of railways has sanctioned the work for three new railway line projects of South Eastern Railway.

According to the CPRO of the SER, Aditya Kumar Chaudhary, however, sections between Tata and Kharagpur to Mumbai continue to be disrupted.
The incident took place at 12.30pm when train number 38909 Howrah-Amta local was entering the halt station. Three bogies from the rear side of the rake were derailed, triggering panic among the passengers.
The project will later be expanded in other zonal railways, informed the officials.
