Market ends flat in rangebound session amid tariffs concern

Benchmark indices on Wednesday bounced back sharply with Nifty finishing above 22,300, breaking a 10-day losing streak.
With today's fall, the Nifty50 closed in the negative zone for the tenth session in a row, while Sensex ended lower for third day.
Benchmark indices plunged nearly 2% on Friday, dragged down by a broad-based sell-off wiping out Rs 8.8 lakh crore in market capitalization. For the week, the total wealth erosion has been recorded at ₹20 lakh crore.
At close, Sensex was up 10.31 points or 0.01% at 74,612.43, and the Nifty was down 2.50 points or 0.01% at 22,545.05.
At 10.17 am, Sensex traded at 59,086.44 points, up 675.46 points or 1.16 per cent, whereas Nifty traded at 17,504.85 points, up 193.05 points or 1.12 per cent.
The 30 stock S&P BSE Sensex closed 684.64 points or 1.20 per cent higher at 57,919.97 points against its previous day's close at 57,235.33 points. Earlier, the Sensex started the day sharply higher at 58,162.74 points and surged to a high of 58,435.12 points in the intra-day. The Sensex pared part of the gains due to profit-taking in the last hour of the trade. It touched a low of 57,848.23 points in the intra-day.
The 30 stock S&P BSE Sensex closed 390.58 points or 0.68 per cent down at 57,235.33 points against its previous day's close at 57,625.91 points. The Sensex started the day in the red at 57,512.74 points and it slumped to a low of 57,055.75 points in the intra-day. The Sensex touched a high of 57,568.14 points in the intra-day.
At 9.46 am, Rupee appreciated marginally from the previous day's close to trade at 82.288 per US dollar.
