Two naxals, including a woman, were killed following an encounter with security forces in Upperghat area of Bermo subdivision, Bokaro district of Jharkhand on Wednesday. Two policemen were also injured in the incident.

A day after the terrorist attack in which five army soldiers were killed in Kathua district, a fierce gunfight broke out on Tuesday between the security forces and militants in the forests of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Confirming the incident, police said that at about 7.45 pm three suspected persons were seen in the village. They fired two to three rounds and escaped towards the forest area.
