Two naxals, including a woman, were killed following an encounter with security forces in Upperghat area of Bermo subdivision, Bokaro district of Jharkhand on Wednesday. Two policemen were also injured in the incident.
Security forces recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition during search and area domination operations in the Lunkhongjang Ridges, under New Keithelmanbi Police Station in Manipur's Kangpokpi District. It was conducted to bolster security in vulnerable hill and valley regions.

Police said that based on specific information, a team of Police from Darhal police station, SoG, Army's Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF launched a joint cordon and search operation (CASO) in areas of Sagrawat forest in Darhal.
These efforts, focused on vulnerable fringe areas, led to the significant seizure of weapons, explosives, and other dangerous materials.
Security forces are said to have established contact with the hiding terrorists in the upper reaches and trapped them in the forested area.
