Schools reopen in Kashmir after 32 months

All government, private and Army schools reopened in Kashmir this morning. Arrangements were made by the school managements for social distancing and temperature testing of students. Students queued at the gate for screening body temperature that is a standard operating procedure.

NDMC’s schools reopen from Monday

Upadhyay said NDMC had issued an advisory containing all necessary directions and general instructions to all Head of Schools and Head Mistress for opening of schools in off-line mode in respect to all classes.

Schools record thin attendance on reopening after 2 years

The government had on Sunday evening abruptly ordered reopening of universities, IITs, polytechnics and senior classes from 9 to 12 in schools in the summer zone of the UT. However, there was poor attendance as the students did not get timely notice and nor were the school managements geared up with the Covid protocols.
