BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, on Tuesday, questioned AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on his party's "Pujari-Granthi Samman Yojna" calling it part of the ruling party’s appeasement policy devised with an eye on the upcoming Delhi assembly elections.
In a significant electoral promise ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced the launch of the ‘Pujari-Granthi Samman Yojana.’
The year 2024 has seen the Ministry of Minority Affairs adding many feathers to its cap with a slew of schemes and programmes for the minorities. During the Financial Year 2023-24, National Minorities Development Finance Corporation (NMDFC) released concessional credit to the tune of Rs 765.45 crore covering over 1.84 lakh beneficiaries.

Cash available in the scheme 'Franklin India Short Term Income Plan (FISTIP)' as of 27 August was Rs 950 crore and that in Franklin India Income Opportunities Fund (FIIOF) was Rs 567.25 crore.
