In October last year, Satya Pal Malik was appointed as the Governor of Goa. He was moved from Jammu and Kashmir post abrogation of Article 370.
While speaking at an event in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat, Malik had reportedly said on Sunday that governors in the country do not have much work to do and that of Jammu and Kashmir 'drinks wine and plays golf'.
Malik served as Governor of Bihar from September 30, 2017 to August 21, 2018.
