No question of providing any water to anyone, says the BJP leader ahead of Punjab CM’s meeting with his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar on October 14 over the SYL issue.
All India Kisan Congress president Sukhpal Singh Khaira alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is hell bent on pressurising Mann to surrender the state's rights over the SYL to Haryana.
The CM said the state’s interests will be fully safeguarded in the meeting and the state government will forcefully put forward the point of view of Punjab on the issue.
Ahluwalia said a state which already has a looming water crisis, cannot afford to spare water to anyone and the AAP Punjab government is well aware of it.
