Senior Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam on Thursday alleged that he was expelled after he submitted his resignation from the party.
Nirupam was expelled after he criticised the party amid seat-sharing talks with Shiv Sena (UBT).
Without mentioning which all films were there, Nirupam took to his official Twitter handle and penned a note in Hindi.
Meanwhile, leader of opposition in the state, Devendra Fadnavis said, 'We are not interested in change of Government in the state as Covid-19 situation is serious.'
In a tweet, Nirupam said (in Hindi), 'Our leaders are giving this argument that to stop BJP we are taking the risk of joining hands with Shiv Sena. But till when this government will work? Either BJP will form a government with somebody or elections will take place. In both the circumstances BJP will benefit and the Congress will face the loss.'
The Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress won 56, 54 and 44 seats respectively in the October 21 Maharashtra Assembly polls.
He took a dig at former Mumbai Congress chief Milind Deora and asked, 'But why was Nikamma absent?'
Ashok Tanwar has been sulking ever since he was replaced by Kumari Selja as the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) president.
While speaking to reporters, Nirupam said, "The way candidates have been chosen, in Mumbai, you can leave aside three or four seats, Congress will lose its deposit in rest others.”
