The Peoples’ Conference president said as the woes of the masses are mounting the administration should make sincere efforts to engage the people of J&K for a lasting solution to the present challenges.
Lone was speaking after former parliamentarians and other leaders joined the JKPC in Srinagar.
Talking to media persons in Srinagar after attending the PM’s meeting with J&K leaders, Lone said that we have to make an enabling environment for facilitating the delivery of the issues discussed in the meeting in which Home Minister Amit Shah was also present.
Lone chaired a meeting of the party leaders in Srinagar in the context of the All Party meeting called by the Prime Minister on 24 June.

Malik's sister on Saturday in a statement said that Malik was on hunger strike ever since the NIA shifted him to Delhi and following his deteriorating health was shifted to a hospital.
Other Kashmiri politicians have also criticised the ban on JKLF and have accused the Modi government of having taken the step to take leverage in the Lok Sabha elections.
'We are not inclined to entertain,' said a bench of CJI Ranjan Gogoi and Justice SK Kaul as senior counsel Jaideep Gupta said that Malik dissolved the assembly even though there were two letters before him staking claim to form the government.
Malik made the remarks during a TV interview and also while addressing students at a function in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
