In the first phase, 17 municipal corporations and Gautam Budh Nagar will be transformed into safe cities, utilizing cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
Amit Shah said the 'Safe City Project' was a cutting-edge security system in preventing and investigating crimes while also ensuring proper surveillance of public places.
The project will be implemented as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme with Centre and State sharing the funding in 60:40 ratio.
