The BCCI had banned Sreesanth for life in August 2013 for his alleged involvement in the spot-fixing scandal that rocked the 2013 IPL.
"I am not finished yet. You will see me bowling again," the 37-year-old said.
"I don't like talking about this but there was a time when I was struggling to pay my bills."
Sreesanth has so far featured in 27 Tests, 53 ODIs and 10 T20Is for India in which he picked 87, 75 and 7 wickets respectively.
The Kerala batsman also stated that they have been training together and Sreesanth is looking lethal as before at the nets.
In his autobiography entitled, 'Barefoot Coach', Upton mentioned an infamous incident that happened in the Rajasthan Royals dressing room back in 2013.
Sreesanth last played for the Indian team in 2011 against England at The Oval.
The top court though maintained that he is guilty of betting/match-fixing.
