With special emphasis on the security of women passengers, Eastern Railway’s Railway Protection Force (RPF) has intensified routine patrols and CCTV surveillance at various stations.

In a successful operation under Operation Satark, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Jasidih post apprehended an individual engaged in the illegal transportation of foreign liquor at Jasidih railway station, under Asansol division of Eastern Railway.
According to the Eastern Railway, the apprehended person was unable to produce any documents in support of the recovered gold ornaments.
These children were separated from their families for various reasons, and the RPF worked tirelessly to ensure their safe return to home, the Ministry of Railways said here on Friday.
