During the meeting, the Speaker took comprehensive review of present status of works and other related aspects of the new Legislative Assembly Complex building. He also reviewed the financial progress on the project.
The Assam-Meghalaya border agreement, signed in March 2022, and the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh pact, inked in April 2022, set frameworks for addressing historical boundary tensions.

Urging the DPSUs to allocate dedicated resources towards Research & Development (R&D), export initiatives, and indigenisation, he emphasized the importance of increasing production capacity, improving product quality, and ensuring timely deliveries to the Armed Forces.
