Govt slashes GST rates, eases filing of returns

The Union Government exempted sanitary napkins from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) net and slashed the rates of many other commodities in the 28th GST Council meeting chaired by interim Finance Minister Piyush Goyal in New Delhi.
