As the previous BJD government faced charges of rehabilitating the ‘pliable’ officers in post-retirement engagement, the BJP has framed comprehensive guidelines on engagement of retired state servants in a transparent manner.
The convicted retired employee- Kartika Chandra Biswal, Ex-Consolidation (Retired), Grade-II (Peskar) in Chainpal of Cuttack district had incidentally demanded and accepted illegal gratification of Rs.1,00 from a complainant.
"Whatever be the outcome of the CBI inquiry, I am not ready to believe that Mahant Narendra Giri, who had been my close associate for over 30 years, can commit suicide," said Mahant Hari Giri, chief patron of Juna Akhara
