The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) staged a protest here on Thursday against the BJP-led government at the Centre, alleging it has failed to address issues of paper leak, Agnipath scheme and Manipur situation.
In a significant positive development in Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday said that the separatist group is ready to engage with the Modi-led central government to resolve the "Kashmir issue".
With the indefinite strike by workers at the Samsung plant on Chennai's outskirts nearing the fifth week to press for trade union right, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, MK Stalin, on Saturday tasked three ministers to resolve the issue and bring to an end the ongoing protest.
According to the Delhi BJP, every Saturday from 12 PM to 2 PM, Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra, along with BJP MPs from Delhi will meet the public and try to resolve their issues.
“The Karol Bagh Zone of MCD has launched a special drive for desilting of all uncovered and slab covered drains to resolve the problem of water logging in the area. The zonal staff have de-silted all the drains in all 13 wards of the zone,” the MCD said on Friday.
