Although the ruling NDA was initially divided over the issue, the NISHAD Party has now come forward in support of the Supreme Court's decision. Most opposition parties, including the BSP and SP, are opposing the ruling.
She also appealed to the SC/ST community to remain united to prevent others from taking advantage.
Telangana will be the first state to implement the sub-classification of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in reservation after the Supreme Court passed an order to that effect.
