According to officials, the indelible ink during the re-polling today was applied on the middle finger of the left hand of voters, as it was already present on their index fingers from the initial voting process.
Out of a total of 753 electorates, 517 used their franchise at polling booth number 195.
These include Sario in Bameng constituency, Langte Loth in Nyapin constituency, and Bogne, Molom, Dingser, Bogis Siyum, Jimbari, and Lengi under Nacho Assembly Constituency.
Apart from these two incidents, no major untoward incident was reported from the district as re-polling continued.
However, while making the announcement, the commission did not specify in how many booths will the re-polling will be conducted and what would be the geographical distribution of the booths.
