Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena has approved the recruitment of 1,463 healthcare staff in a bid to address the shortage of healthcare personnel and improve the national capital’s public healthcare infrastructure.
He said his government was making all-out efforts to realise dreams and aspirations of the youth and their parents.
The focus of the meeting was on expediting the filling up of posts in the Medical, Paramedical and Nursing Wings of the Delhi Government Hospitals, which has been pending for the past 10 years.
They all will appear for a computer-based test (CBT) to begin from 17 August to fill up a total of 1,03,769 vacant posts in the Level 1 category in the Railways, for which the minimum qualification is either Class 10 pass or an ITI certificate in any trade.
Rajnath Singh, who arrived at Srinagar on Thursday on two days tour of Jammu and Kashmir, described the scheme a ‘golden opportunity’ to join the nation’s defence services and to serve the country. Singh thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allowing one time age relaxation for the first batch to be recruited through the scheme.
Indian Railways conducted the second stage Computer Based Test (CBT) of Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment on 9th & 10th May for Level 6 (7124 posts) and Level 4 (161 posts).
"It is also clarified that withdrawal of posts referred to PSC /SSB before 31 October 2019 has only been done for posts where selections have not been made and results have not been declared", the spokesman said.
According to a spokesperson, the Railway Ministry has constituted a committee that will listen to the views of the candidates who cleared or failed and following that the committee will submit its report to the Ministry of Railways
