Murmu who inaugurated two-day Conference of Governors at Rashtrapati Bhavan here said, "The change in our thinking was evident from the names of the laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam."
Rashtrapati Bhavan will auction selected gift items, presented to the President and former Presidents on various occasions, through an online portal called E-Upahaar.
Rashtrapati Bhavan, the office and the residence of the President of India, is a symbol of the nation, and an invaluable heritage of the people. Continuous efforts are being made to make it more accessible to people.

Mukherjee had a strong desire to make the Rashtrapati Bhavan accessible to the common people, and a substantial portion of Rashtrapati Bhavan was opened for public viewing during his tenure.

PM's visit comes two days after his surprise visit at Leh to meet the soldiers.
