He said this highway is a big step towards ending the traffic jam in South Delhi and in the coming days with this gift of the Central Government, the entire South Delhi will get rid of the jam.
BJP MP from South Delhi Ramvir Singh Bidhuri on Monday termed the promise made by former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Atishi on Delhi roads as "another hoax".
Addressing party workers, the BJP MP from South Delhi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi implemented welfare schemes across the country, but the Kejriwal Government deprived Delhi of these benefits.
Bidhuri has resigned from both the Legislative Assembly from the Badarpur constituency and the Leader of Opposition post. He submitted both resignation letters to Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri won the South Delhi Lok Sabha seat bagging 56.68 per cent of the votes polled. The BJP won all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi in 2019.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, BJP's national secretary and Delhi's deputy in-charge Dr Alka Gurjar, and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva accompanied Bidhuri on this occasion.
Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly said when BJP MLAs under his leadership requested the Assembly Speaker for a discussion on construction of CM’s Rajmahal, they were marshalled out.
"The Supreme Court had directed the Delhi government to impose a ban on firecrackers, and the Delhi government has completely failed in implementing this ban," Bidhuri said.
This year, CBSE Class 10th and 12th results have dropped. In Class 9th and 11th, the results have gone down by more than 60 per cent, said Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly.
