The BJP has named Arun Sao, and Vijay Sharma as the two Deputy Chief Minister's in Chhattisgarh.

After the Supreme Court rejected the NIA's petition regarding the investigation in the Jheeram Ghati massacre case, former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Raman Singh asserted that the matter will be investigated immediately after the formation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state.
The High Court said that allegations were not duly supported by documents and evidence and the Court proceedings were misused.
Raman Singh became the chief minister on December 7, 15 years ago, and no other BJP CM has served for so long.
Ridiculing Modi for his assertions of being the country's "chowkidar" (watchman), Gandhi said the entire country knows the "chowkidar has turned into a thief".
The first phase of polls in Chhattisgarh will be held on November 12 covering 18 constituencies while the remaining 72 constituencies will go to polls on November 20.
If elected, he also promised to give bonus to the farmers of the poll-bound state, where the Congress has been in opposition for the last 15 years.
In the 2013 elections, the BJP lifted 49 seats while the Congress got 39.
