Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that they will uphold the glorious tradition of the party.
The minister said that he has gone into self-quarantine from 4 pm on Tuesday. He reasoned that Raina 'had accompanied us from Srinagar to Bandipora on 12th July.'
He further said that India must show the same assertiveness on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China as it has shown on the Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan, simply to protect its 'self respect' and defend its land 'till the last inch'.
Asserting that the Citizenship Amendment Act only fast-tracked grant of citizenship to minorities from neighbouring countries, he said the protests against it were not happening for 'valid reasons and they are misinformed.'
The BJP general secretary also demanded an FIR against NC's Akbar Lone and an answer from NC for his anti-India statements.
In an attempt to put all speculations to rest, BJP president Amit Shah on Friday said that senior party leader and Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will not be given a ticket to contest the Lok Sabha polls.
Ram Madhav, the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Thursday said that the saffron party are reaching out to all allies to address concerns over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016.
"There is nothing to worry about the Citizenship Bill or 10 per cent quota for the poor among the general category,” said Madhav.
His comments come in the wake of the resentment expressed by BJP ally Apna Patel in Uttar Pradesh and RLSP pulling out of NDA in Bihar.
