Reacting to the incident, BJP leader and Rajasthan assembly LoP Rajendra Rathore slammed the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government for the prevailing “jungle raj” in the state.
"Main Rs 46,000 crore dedunga, aap log Rajendra Singh ka Raj bana do...turant bana dunga ERCP (I will provide Rs 46,000, you people have to make Rajendra Singh's Raj. I will make ERCP immediately)".
In Jaipur's Malviya Nagar seat, Congress candidate Archana Sharma lost to BJP's Ashok Saraf, the Health Minister, by 1,704 votes while NOTA gained 2,371 votes, Election Commission statistics show.
