Pakistan has activated its war preparations as railway stations across the country have been handed over to the country's Army with soldier desks set up at all stations.
The railways is committed to ensuring safe and smooth train operations by regularly upgrading its infrastructure.

The capital expenditure for railways is expected to be pegged at Rs 2.70 lakh crore, as compared to the last year’s Rs 2.40 lakh crore.
