Claiming that the AAP government is not serious about containing pollution, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said on Sunday for Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai, the issue is a mere way to keep himself in the news.
Prices of tur (arhar) and urad pulses in major mandis have declined by almost 10 per cent in the last three months but retail prices have not seen a similar decline yet, the Centre said on Tuesday.

The tree cover of Delhi as per SFR 2019 was 129 sq km which has now increased to 147 sq km that means there is an increase of 18 sq km within 2 years.
The Environment Minister has since ordered DPCC to issue two separate notices to the concerned agency CPWD – one, for ignoring the ban which was imposed to reduce pollution in the city and two, for violating anti-dust guidelines while construction is in full swing. CPWD must respond to these notices by tomorrow and further action will be taken on the basis of their response, he informed.
The Centre’s decision announced on Friday night also allows reopening of shops located in residential complexes within municipal areas.
