A Division Bench of the Calcutta High Court on Tuesday fixed 11 March as the tentative deadline for completion of charge-framing at the special court in the alleged financial irregularities case related to the R G Kar Medical College & Hospital in Kolkata.

West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Forum (WBJDF), the umbrella body of junior doctors protesting against the R G Kar Medical College and Hospital rape-murder case, announced the resumption of complete cease-work throughout the state from Tuesday.
Hardly five days after joining work in state-run medical colleges’ essential emergency services, the junior doctors on Thursday sent yet another email to the state chief secretary, Manoj Pant, reminding him their unresolved demands, discussed during their earlier meeting at state secretariat on 18 September.
