Almost ninety days have elapsed since 9 August rape-murder of a woman postgraduate trainee doctor happened inside her workplace at R G Kar Medical College Hospital but no justice has been done so far, said protesters.
Union home minister Amit Shah is supposed to visit the state at a time when there have been protests of the R G Kar PGT student rape and murder.
Central BJP leaders has instructed its state unit to launch movement in city and districts regarding R G Kar female PGT rape and murder issue after the Pujas.
They would also bring out a procession between College Square and Esplanade before the rally.

Chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday reached out to agitating junior doctors, inviting them to the state secretariat at Nabanna for a meeting to resolve the impasse amid their ongoing protest over the R G Kar issue, but they did not turn up, Chandrima Bhattacharya, minister of state for health, said.
It’s the 30th day today. It has been exactly 30 days since a postgraduate trainee doctor in Kolkata was raped and murdered within the very walls she once treated patients.
