Its core net interest income grew 8.57 per cent to Rs 17,009 crore on advances growth of 14.4 per cent and the net interest margin coming at 4.1 per cent, while the other income grew 54.3 per cent to Rs 4,075 crore.
L&T Technology Services on Wednesday reported an 84 per cent jump in its June quarter net at Rs 216.2 crore, largely on widening margins.
Reacting to the results, analysts at domestic brokerage Reliance Securities said the revenue underperformance was a one-off and welcomed the significant deal wins.
Hours after the stock jumped 4.86 per cent to Rs 1,152.65 on the BSE, it was trading at Rs 1,138.80, up by 3.61 per cent.
Earlier in the day, company’s stock fell 1.22 per cent to Rs 2,177.25. It dipped 1.28 per cent to Rs 2,176 on the NSE.
