SAIL has supplied 48,200 Tonnes of steel for the Purvanchal Expressway which was recently inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister remarked that the security of the country was as important as its prosperity.
"We carried the bicycles on our shoulders and crossed the new expressway and inaugurated the project," he said.
The Prime Minister will reach Sultanpur on November 16 at around 2 p.m. He will be here for 1 hour 45 minutes. During this, he will address a public meeting and witness a 45-minute air show.
The Expressway will connect eastern and western Uttar Pradesh.
