In a decisive action against the Centre’s alleged draconian move to snatch waters of state by misusing BBMB, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has convened an all-party meeting at 10 am on Friday at Punjab Bhawan.
The wheat procurement operations are going on at rapid pace in the mandis throughout the state and till now, 114 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT) of produce has arrive in the mandis out of which 111 LMT has been procured.

The 26-years-old Army personnel, posted as Sepoy in Pathankot, was arrested along with his aide Paramjeet Singh alias Pamma of Village Mahalam in Fazilka.

The security forces succeeded in making the arrest and recovery of such a huge consignment of narcotics following an operation.
The party alleged that previous governments allowed construction of SYL canal for their vested interest.
