The civic body said this rebate is also available on service charge of the government properties.
Property tax can, however, be paid digitally through UPI, Wallets, Demand Draft, Pay order, or through any online payment gateway only.
he MCD said it has also observed that a large number of tax payers have also been found defaulters in payment of tax during previous years and messages are being sent to them from time to time with the request to pay tax.
It was stated by MCD Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti in his Budget speech while presenting the Revised Budget Estimates 2023-24 and Budget Estimates 2024-25 in the Special Budget Meeting of the House at the civic body’s headquarters on Saturday.
