Pragya Singh Thakur was addressing a condolence meeting at the Madhya Pradesh BJP office.
It is learnt that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed its utter disgust towards the ever-increasing utterances of BJP leaders.
Pragya Thakur had, on Monday, failed to get an exemption from appearance in a special court this week in the 2008 Malegaon blast case.
"Grounds shown in the exemption application like to complete process of elections, enrolment and other factors cannot be accepted at all as time and again, the accused person (Thakur) has undertaken to remain present before this court but fails to do so," the court said.
Sharma, the leader from Chambal region but fielded from Bundelkhand area, won by a huge margin of 4,92,382 votes against Congress candidate Maharani Kavita Singh ‘Natiraja’
“Sarkar se alag ho jana chahiye tha. Itni taqleef hai Pragya Thakur se to istifa de ke alag ho jana chahiye unko (He [Nitish Kumar] should have left the government. If he is really so badly hurt by Pragya Thakur’s comment then he should resign and walk out of the government),” said Rabri.
Earlier on Friday, PM Modi in an interview had said that he will 'never be able to forgive' Pragya Thakur for calling Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse a 'patriot'.
The shocking comparison comes amidst controversy over Pragya Thakur's comment glorifying Godse as a patriot.
Following Thakur's remark, BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that the party does not endorse her comment and asked her to give an apology.
