PM Modi also launched Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-III in Himachal Pradesh for the upgradation of around 3,125-km of roads in the state.
After the review meeting of PWD, Thakur said top priority must be given to the Chief Ministers' announcements and to those projects whose foundation stones of which had been laid and to those which were nearing completion.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur congratulated the Public Works Department and expressed satisfaction on Mandi district bagging top position in 30 districts of the country and Himachal securing second position at national level in PMGSY implementation.
