“For every mother and baby, a healthy start from pregnancy through childbirth and the first months after birth are essential,” said Dr Soumya Swaminathan, Deputy Director General for Programmes at WHO.
The Health Minister expressed hope that all the participating nations are already committed and convinced of the necessity and requirement of investments in health.
