The 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship initiative, has seen an overwhelming response, with over 3.5 crore students, teachers, and parents registering for the programme. This nationwide movement aims to turn exam-related stress into a celebration of learning, offering a positive and joyful outlook on education.
In a thread post on X, Prime Minister Modi said: "On this day, #OneRankOnePension (OROP) was implemented. This was a tribute to the courage and sacrifices of our veterans and ex-service personnel who dedicate their lives to protecting our nation."

From Odisha, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address his first public meeting in Kandhamal at 10:30 a.m., followed by another in Bolangir at 12:15 p.m. and Bargarh at 1:45 p.m. Later, he will visit Jharkhand and address a public meeting in Chatra at 5 p.m.
