In a significant acknowledgment of the country's efforts towards eradication of tuberculosis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday highlighted the nation's achievements in reducing TB incidence.
In a post on X, he celebrated the enthusiasm surrounding the recent designation of Assamese as a Classical Language, an important recognition of the region's rich linguistic and cultural heritage.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded India's progress in the fight against Tuberculosis saying the decline in TB incidence is an outcome of the country's dedicated and innovative efforts.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, "I wish all my countrymen a very Happy Bhai Dooj. I hope that this auspicious occasion deepens the affection between brothers and sisters."
Upon the Prime Minister's enquiry about the apparent changes in her village compared to previous years, Ms Nazia Nazir replied that the Jal Jeevan Mission proved to be a game changer with clean and safe tapped water supply reaching their homes where water issues once prevailed
"Best wishes to Smt. Sonia Gandhi Ji on her birthday. May she be blessed with a long and healthy life," the Prime Minister said in a post on 'X' on Saturday.
Alongside the prime minister, other political figures such as Congress' Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal, Shashi Tharoor, and Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin also shared their heartfelt greetings with the former Congress chief
During the programme, the Prime Minister inaugurated the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat Centre for Design' at Red Fort and the student Biennale-Samunnati.
According to the US-based consultancy firm's 'Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker' 76 per cent of people in India approve of PM Modi's leadership.
