In a post on X, he celebrated the enthusiasm surrounding the recent designation of Assamese as a Classical Language, an important recognition of the region's rich linguistic and cultural heritage.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded India's progress in the fight against Tuberculosis saying the decline in TB incidence is an outcome of the country's dedicated and innovative efforts.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, "I wish all my countrymen a very Happy Bhai Dooj. I hope that this auspicious occasion deepens the affection between brothers and sisters."
The regular run of the train is to commence from Sealdah on 2 January and from Balurghat from 3 January. The train, as informed by the Eastern Railway, is to have daily service.
Many projects will be inaugurated along with the airport, railway station, highway and railway line doubling. Four major roads will also be inaugurated.

These include projects worth about Rs 11,100 crore for development of the Ram Temple city Ayodhya and its surrounding areas and projects worth about Rs 4,600 crore related to other projects across Uttar Pradesh.
Modi said Vijayakanth's passing away has left a void that will be very hard to fill.
