NPG under PM GatiShakti evaluates 5 key infra projects

The theme of the event was 'Integration of Economic/User Ministries/Departments on PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP)'.
He also launched a training module on ‘Role of CBIC in PM GatiShakti’ developed for the Ministry of Finance which showcases the use of PM GatiShakti for streamlining customs operations for promoting logistics efficiency.
The PM Gati Shakti national master plan, launched in October 2021, aims to streamline critical infrastructure projects and reduce logistics costs.
It was noted that it also helps in route and alignment optimization and effective last/first mile connectivity planning to major social as well as economic zones in the project areas.
Total 101 projects in respect of Ports and Shipping have so far been identified under PM Gati Shakti initiative worth Rs 60,872 crore for implementation. Out of these, 13 projects worth Rs 4,423 crore have been completed.

Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the state government has sent four projects amounting to Rs 84 crore for the Central assistance, keeping in view logistics connectivity and industrial development in the state.
